Last week we brought you a sneak peek at B.o.B.’s legend-making “MTV Unplugged” show with a his performance of “Magic.” And today we’re proud to unveil B.o.B.’s full-length “MTV Unplugged” performance, featuring five songs and special guests including Robin Thicke, Janelle Monáe and Melanie Fiona.
B.o.B.–singer, rapper, musician and producer–has been racking up those aforementioned titles for years, but 2010 has been his breakthrough. His debut album, The Adventures of Bobby Ray–featuring Lupe Fiasco, T.I., Hayley Williams, Rivers Cuomo, Janelle
Monáe, Bruno Mars, Rich Boy and Eminem (to name a few) — debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart, R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart, Digital Albums chart and Rap Albums charts. He went from mixtape darling to that voice you hear every time you turn on the radio or the TV and that name all over every music magazine and blog.
He won a Teen Choice award, merited three BET award nominations, and with five MTV VMA nominations, got the third-most VMA nominations, right under Lady Gaga and Eminem. And he’ll also be performing live at the 2010 MTV VMAs on Sunday, Sept. 12. But before then, check out B.o.B.’s prelude to his VMA performance: his six-song “MTV Unplugged” set.
Watch B.o.B.’s “MTV Unplugged” performance, including “Magic,” “Don’t Let Me Fall,” “Nothin’ On You” with Robin Thicke, “Airplanes” with Melanie Fiona,” and a medley “The Kids” and MGMT’s “Kids,” with Janelle Monae.

Rémy Martin Cognac and Grand Hustle/Atlantic recording artist T.I. announced today they have formed a partnership to collaborate on creative projects and further the work of T.I.’s K.I.N.G. Foundation. T.I. has been named Global Creative Consultant to the iconic Rémy Martin brand.
Rémy Martin and T.I. will work together on several events and personal appearances in conjunction with T.I.’s August 17th release of his highly anticipated album, KING UNCAGED. “T.I. is a powerful voice in the entertainment world as a recording artist, actor and producer. And Rémy Martin recognizes the similarities between the art of producing fine cognacs and blending music and words to create hit songs. Both crafts demand skill and attention,” says Lamar Johnson, Director of Marketing and Branded Entertainment, Rémy Cointreau USA, Inc. “We are very pleased to partner with T.I. to build upon our successful ‘Things are Getting Interesting’ marketing campaign.”
Rémy Martin will also help raise awareness and funds to support the mission of the K.I.N.G. Foundation. T.I. started the Foundation to help low income families with an emphasis on mentoring, positive intervention and community outreach.
T.I. will work across the range of Rémy Martin cognac marques and will offer creative thinking on marketing initiatives including promotions, merchandising and digital media. T.I. has long been a fan of the brand and recently visited Rémy Martin headquarters in Cognac, France where he learned about the brand’s heritage and production process.
“I’ve been a fan of Rémy Martin for many years so I’m honored to be working with them as creative consultant. And now after my trip to Cognac, I admire the brand’s genius even more. I’m excited about all the possibilities of this partnership,” said T.I. He offered Chelsea Handler a magnum of Rémy Martin V.S.O.P and teased his upcoming signature blend of the premium cognac when he visited the E! talk show host last night on Chelsea Lately.
Since 2001, T.I. has grown to become one of the most revered and successful artists in music, amassing millions in album sales and a myriad of awards including three Grammys. KING UNCAGED marks T.I.’s seventh studio album and the first since his critically acclaimed PAPER TRAIL album.
In 2006, T.I. – known in Hollywood as Clifford “Tip” Harris – made his critically acclaimed star turn as the leading actor in the coming of age film, ATL.
He followed up that role by acting alongside Oscar winners Denzel Washington and Ruby Dee in American Gangster. T.I. and Grand Hustle Films now adds producer to their credits with August 27th release of TAKERS. The Screen Gems/Sony film stars T.I., alongside Matt Dillon, Hayden Christensen, Zoe Saldana, Idris Elba, Paul Walker, Michael Ealy and Chris Brown.
Music and movies are just the leading edge of T.I.’s entertainment conglomerate. He is also expanding into the world of fashion with his Akoo (A King of Oneself) clothing line.
