Grand Hustle/Atlantic recording artist T.I. scored a BET Award tuesday night at ceremonies held at the legendary Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles. The Atlanta-based rapper, who was presented with the Best Male Hip-Hop Award, also performed his #1 single, 'What You Know.'Passing the half million mark in its first week with a SoundScan total of 521,702, T.I.'s recently released KING made a triumphant #1 debut on the Billboard 200 album chart. In addition, the album was also #1 on Billboard?s Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart, #1 on the Top Rap Albums chart, #1 on iTunes, and #1 on the Top Digital albums chart. KING marked the biggest first-week sales for an Atlantic artist in the 15-year history of the SoundScan retail tracking system. The rappers current single, 'Why You Wanna,' is a top 10 single on Billboard?s Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay.
